Lisa Garcia Quiroz is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility and Chief Diversity Officer, Time Warner Inc. In this role, Ms. Garcia Quiroz oversees the company’s community outreach and philanthropic programs in education and the arts. She is also responsible for ensuring that Time Warner attracts, retains and develops a talented, diverse workforce, and she leads company-wide efforts aimed at better serving and reaching a more diverse marketplace.
Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Garcia Quiroz was the catalyst for two of Time Inc.’s successful brand extensions—People en Español and Time for Kids. Active in civic issues, Ms. Garcia Quiroz was nominated by President Obama to serve on the board of the Corporation for National and Community Service. She also serves on the executive committee of the board of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
Ms. Garcia Quiroz, of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent, was born and raised in New York City and received both her undergraduate degree and Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
