Mr. Bron joined Pine Brook in May 2013 as a managing director on the financial services investment team. He currently is a director of United PanAm Financial Corp. Mr. Bron has over 38 years of financial services experience, including 20 years in the private equity industry. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Bron helped found ACON-Bastion Partners II and was a managing partner from 2005 to 2012. Before that, he spent 8 years as a founder and managing partner of Bastion Capital, a private equity fund primarily focused on the U.S. Hispanic market. 
Mr. Bron is the founder of United PanAm Financial Corp. and has been chairman of the board since 1993. From 1983 to 1989, he was a managing director at Drexel International Finance Corp., an affiliate of the World Bank. Mr. Bron has also served on the board of directors of 16 companies including four publicly traded corporations. He is currently a director of K12 Inc., an online services provider. 
Mr. Bron holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
