Victor Maruri

Mr. Maruri is a co-founder of HCP & Company, a Chicago based private equity company. Established in 2003, HCP focuses on growth and buyout investments in lower middle market companies in education, healthcare, business services and consumer products. HCP is currently forming its third fund.

Prior to co-founding HCP, Mr. Maruri was Regional Head for Latin America at Banque Paribas as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Paribas North America.

Mr. Maruri was a Managing Director and member of the Managing Board of Credit Suisse First Boston, London (CSFB).  While at CSFB, Mr. Maruri was in charge of global placements and investment banking for Southern Europe. Prior to that, Mr. Maruri was a Managing Director of JP Morgan (London). He started his career at Chemical Bank, New York.

Mr. Maruri earned a BS in economics from the University of Miami and pursued graduate studies in business administration at New York University. He serves on numerous boards including The New America Alliance, Collaborative Learning Inc., Polaris Hospitals, Taylor College as well as Career Training Academy.
