CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, NEW AMERICA ALLIANCE, INC.

The New America Alliance, Inc. is searching for the right person to join the organization as the Chief Operating Officer reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic oversight over all NAA programs and initiatives and will lead the organization’s efforts in membership recruitment and in the annual fundraising efforts, including corporate partnerships.

Specifically, approximately 30% of the time will be spent on Program Operations – that is, developing content, planning, and securing participants, speakers and sponsors for the CIO & Asset Class Connections, Dealmakers Forums, biannual NAA Wall Street Summit, and Town Hall meetings. The COO will also expand the NAA institutional investor database to include public and corporate pensions, endowments, foundations, family officers, and Taft-Hartley pension plans.

A significant amount of time (30%) will be developing a marketing plan for NAA programs, including the coordination with the Marketing & Communications Adviser on the monthly newsletter, social media, and websites. The COO will travel as required to represents NAA at national conferences and interface with institutional investor boards, members, and constituents.
Another 30% of the COO’s time will be focused on developing, implementing, and managing an annual membership action plan supported by year-to-year performance reports and regular current year performance reports to the NAA Membership Committee and the NAA Board.
