Claudio Phillips is a Managing Principal of MB Global Partners, LLC., an investment firm which offers a comprehensive solution for clients to tactically invest in special situations and distressed opportunities. Prior to joining MB Global Partners, Mr. Phillips was a Managing Director at The Commonfund (a nonprofit asset manager) from 2006 to 2011, where he was the Head of their dedicated distressed funds. Mr. Phillips has held a variety of leadership positions in Wall Street firms, including his position as a Managing Director at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney where he was in charge of all non-European Global Performing Loan (including emerging markets) trading. Mr. Phillips was the former President of the Westchester Hispanic Coalition (Westchester County NY), appointed to the Westchester County Hispanic Advisory Board, is currently on the Board of Directors of GIFT, and is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. Mr. Phillips graduated from Harvard University in 1983 and resides in Chappaqua, NY.
