Reverence Capital Partners Portfolio Company - SEIA - Announces Agreement to Acquire Cedar Brook Group

Reverence Capital Partners (“Reverence Capital”) is pleased to announce today, Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, Inc. (“SEIA” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Reverence Capital, has announced its agreement to acquire Cedar Brook Group (“Cedar Brook”). Cedar Brook is one of the leading RIAs in Cleveland, Ohio and currently has approximately $2 billion in client assets. The acquisition is expected to close in June 2024, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The Cedar Brook acquisition is SEIA’s first major acquisition to date and marks SEIA’s expansion into the Midwest. Once completed, the acquisition will bring SEIA’s AUM to over $22 billion with 155 employees and advisors across 20 offices. Cedar Brook’s history as a financial-planning first advisory firm adds additional resources and experience to SEIA’s growing Estate, Tax, and Financial Planning department. As part of the transaction, SEIA will bring scale benefits and enhanced resources to Cedar Brook, which will help its financial professionals better serve their clients and support continued growth.
