Mr. Acevedo is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and monitoring of direct investments. He has served as board director or observer to nine portfolio companies across the healthcare, business services, media, technology, and financial services industries. He has executed private investment transactions across buyouts, growth equity, mezzanine and convertible debt and has 20 years of finance and direct private equity investment experience.

Mr. Acevedo was most recently a Principal at Pharos Capital Group where he was responsible for managing transaction teams, leading due diligence efforts, and monitoring portfolio companies. Prior thereto, Mr. Acevedo was Director of Business Development at Univision, where he launched and led new business initiatives. At JP Morgan and SG Cowen, Mr. Acevedo was an Associate in the Latin American equity research group, covering the media, telecommunications, mining and steel industries. He began his career as a Financial Analyst structuring fixed income transactions for government municipalities at Merrill Lynch in 1996. Mr. Acevedo graduated from Harvard College with an AB, cum laude, in Government and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, where he was a Robert A. Toigo Fellow.
