The New America Alliance presented the 15th installment of the Annual Wall Street Summit in New York City on October 27-29. This year's Summit was dedicated to NAA Founding Members Jorge G. Castro and Daniel D. Villanueva, Sr. whom we lost this year. As founding members of the NAA, Jorge and Danny embodied the mission of the NAA-building on American Latino success to forge a stronger America for all Americans. Their wisdom will continue to guide the NAA for years to come.

During the Wall Street Summit we announced the NAA Billion Dollar Circle and celebrated the success of NAA Member firms that have surpassed $1 Billion of assets under management. Together, these ten NAA member firms manage over $20 Billion AUM and range across asset classes, including private equity, real estate, hedge funds and public markets.  We also highlighted the following:

NAA membership of diverse and emerging asset management firms
have over $60 Billion aggregate assets under management.

NAA diverse asset managers (with 25+% diverse ownership)
represent almost $45 Billion of aggregate assets under management.

NAA Latino asset managers in private equity
represent over $10 Billion in aggregate assets under management, as compared to
under $500 Million reported in the NAA White Paper in 2003 - that is progress.
